It all started in 2001 with Ulrike Spielmann visiting a school with her Berger Picardy dog Ormille, (Ormi). The school was in the Austrian capital Vienna.
Under supervision of The Institute For The Study Of People And Animal Relationships. (IEMT) Dogs and their handlers were put through a strict test to ensure the suitablity of the dogs to work in school enviornment s with the children
During the years 2001 - 2003 Ulrike visited approx. 200 classes with approx. 5,000 pupils.
In addition to the schools, our tested association therapy dogs, were used in Austria to attend old people's homes.
Since Ormi has been retired due to old age. the "school service" and visiting retirement homes has now become the job of
...... Frank Braun and his Mastins Diego and Adina.
Frank stepped in during the year 2000. at the start of this year the Leonberger Athos and the Irish Wolf dog Cara.
and the Mostin Diego visited approx. 3,200 children in the schools in the 4 1/2 years.
Further employments came on the occasion of the world children's day 2003, 2004 and 2005 in large recreational parks and in the capital Berlin. In addition to this...
our "school dog beginner" Adina is sucessfully trying
to step into the paw casts of her predecessors.
As is our foundation bitch Chicca, the mother of two litters
of Valle de los Volcanos puppies as she works in a Victorian Primary School
in her new home in Australia.
